Dallas Apartments

The Lofts at Mockingbird Station is a property that is in the heart of a major development.  The apartments sit above endless retail and restaurants as well as being at the hub of the DART rail system.  This post may be slightly biased as our Dallas office is actually located at The Lofts at Mockingbird Station. The property is currently or was offering around 3 months free which made the deal too good to pass up.  The only critique one could have about The Lofts at Mockingbird Station is it is on the non Uptown side of 75 so it does not have that Dallas Uptown apartments snob appeal.  The units themselves are great and include large windows, granite, maple cabinetry, etc.

Windsor at Turtle Creek is a high rise building of apartments in the Dallas area.  The property was just acquired by a management company out of Boston and these are the first Dallas apartments they are managing.  The units at the Windsor at Turtle Creek are very basic as far as high rises go: standard carpet, standard counters, etc.  The location of building is very convenient, however.  The Windsor at Turtle Creek has easy access to uptown and downtown.  This property is popular because it is one of the most affordable high rises in the Dallas area.

The best thing this Gables property has going for it is that the West Village is about the coolest place in Dallas to live.  You can walk outside of this property and be at retail, restaurants, coffee shops, etc.  Gables West Village is also a step above other properties owned and managed by Gables.  The company had to step up the interiors of their apartments as luxury competition got stiffer in the Dallas market.  The negatives about Gables West Village is that the work out room and the pool leave something to be desired for a property of this caliber.

I recently took several real estate agents on a tour of apartments in Uptown Dallas that included the Trianon.  This is what one of them had to say about it: 

“Another luxurious property.  Beautifully finished—hardwoods, granite.  Brick exteriors.  Separate bath and shower.  Stainless steel appliances.  Beautiful!”

The Trianon is truly an ultra luxurious property.  The only complaint I have is that it was not built as a high rise.  What I mean is for the kind of money one spends here they could get something with a view in the same area.  On the other hand, not everyone likes a high rise.

Gables Villa Rosa is a brand new property now leasing in Uptown Dallas.  The property is uncharacteristically luxurious compared to other properties managed by the company.  Prices start around $1200 per month for a 1 bedroom at Gables Villa Rosa.  However, the interior features are far superior to your standard properties located in the Uptown area.

Broadstone Seville is actually located in Oaklawn although the property markets itself as Uptown.  The property is soft loft construction meaning that the units are done in loft decor.  Broadstone Seville is a brand new construction community so new tenants will be first to live in each unit.  The property is managed by Alliance Communities (a newcomer to the Dallas market although they have several successful properties around the country).  One of the best things about the property is you get ultra luxury without paying the premiums of being in Uptown proper.
